Why

Killing me the time apart

Trampled is this fragile heart

Lonliness the food of fools

Who wrote those damn golden lovers rules?

Deslolate the place I live

So many dreams I can not give

Strength fails me not I will always try

At least I know the place where I will die

Upon the fields of broken hearts

The killing fields where hopes all start

Cry a river, from me a sea

The storm of such a travesty

Catch the kiss I blow through the years

My last request in black dressed fear

Unto the lips that touched gently mine

The taste of you sweeter than expensive wine

If I could make one last request

Come home to love, deny the rest

Why I ask do lovers fight?

Why the lonely empty nights?

Why the silence in the dark?

Why do I have a broken heart?

Bitterness the stumbling block

That keeps the distance to love I lost
