Why?

Why did the price of oil suddenly rise plumb out of sight? A simple way of manipulating our lives, and no it’s neither fair nor is it right. Did you ever wonder why they haven’t built more new gas refineries? Just another way of controlling you and me. Why do we simply pay their price without voicing the way we feel? Because I think some of us are thinking this is just a dream, it can’t be real. Why would anyone want to destroy our already fragile economic system? We’re just pawns on a game of chess, we don’t really matter to any of them. Why have we let these things happen is what I fail to understand? We need to hold them accountable, each and every involved woman and man. If we’re as low on oil as they say we are, then why hasn’t something been done before now? I know we have the means do we all of a sudden lack skill or know how?
