I think Caren gives the power over to her muse. Trixie reminds me of The Lord of the rings when Gollum says: “We needs it. Must have the precious. They stole it from us. Sneaky little hobbitses, wicked, tricksy, false.” But I can still picture Caren slapping Trixie’s wings every now and again with a “tsk...tsk”
