Whoops

Bob is a grown baby
Spoiled rotten by two doting parents
They do not get along well
Have been divorced for years

Agree on only one thing
Bob should be coddled and supported
At forty, he has never held a job
His parents pay for his housing, food, medical bills

Bob will call his daddy and ask him to bring him a hamburger
No big deal, for daddy only lives three towns away.
His mommy will meet him in emergency rooms
To yell at the nurses who are never good enough

Bob uses emergency rooms the way we use M and M’s
He has been in there six times this month
He agreed to watch Dunder, Daddy’s dog over Thanksgiving
Changed his mind and begged to go with Daddy to New York

Daddy had to scramble to find a dog-sitter
And had to buy Bob an expensive plane ticket
For it was one of those last minute changes.
He said “Bob, you cannot use an emergency room in New York.”

The minute they deplaned Bob fell and hit his head.
Daddy called an ambulance, now they are in the ER
Whoops!
