Whom I Seek

Up above in my starlit skies I wonder where my life went wrong These thoughts all bring tears to my eyes I can't be weak,I must stay strong If heaven ever lost its shine if my star ever lost its light need to know you would still be mine And that for me would you still fight A smile no longer on my face Forever would you hold my hand And tell me that I can't be replaced Honestly would you understand These are all things I need to know making my struggles not seem weak I need someone who wants to grow Are you the person whom I seek

I enjoyed reading this plea for assurance in love,Brenda. I think that Nick is referring to the last line where you missed out 'you'. Might I humbly suggest also that you capitalize the last 'I' in verse one and personally I would add an 'I' before 'need to know' but that's just my preference. A heartfelt poem,Brenda.
