Who Will Feed the Birds
Little budgie who comes ‘round to eat,
The seeds in our feeder ever so sweet.
I see you in spring, summer and fall,
You come ‘round in winter you never stall.
This season’s no different so come eat your fill,
‘Til we meet again in the early morning chill.
Those bully bluejays on their way to the feeder do make,
Screaming at the world keeping me wide awake.
I watch you from my window my coffee in hand,
I admire your tenacity when you make a stand.
I am blessed by your presence, beauty and sacred song.
I’m glad you come ‘round all year long.
