Who Was She?

My heart is yearning
My souls is stirring
And my skin is burning
Where has my flower gone?

The Ethereal being
That I keep seeing
But keeps fleeing
Whenever I drawn near.

The harder I try
The faster I fly
The more I die
As this being disappears

Like slipping sands
Running through my hands
In pale golden bands
As I grasp on far to tight

Now it’s gone
I must go on
Light not shone
On my little world anymore

Behind a blinking eye
I hide my inner sigh
And try not to cry
For my missing piece of puzzle

Oh goodbye
Sun lit sky
Fire so high
This must come to a close.
