who told my tree it was April?

An old neem tree
sentinel stands
in my frontyard

                   fresh healing air
                   green sunlit shade
                   bitter year-round

Pinnate gloss leaves
inflorescences
hundreds of flowers

                 fragrant crisp white
                 appear at once
                 sure it is April
