Who Is To Blame

Where once we could think and speak out freely, we are now censored with surveillance systems monitoring everybody. How did this happen? Who is to blame, for this world becoming so chaotically insane? There are of course they who are more responsible than others, but if you are looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it, you were afraid, who wouldn't be? War, terror, the spread of a deadly disease, and so order was promised to us by our government, and all they demanded in return was our obedient consent, and so instilled with fear we surrendered it to them. People should not live in fear of their government. Government should live in fear of the people who elected them. I am in the winter of my years and may soon escape all of this madness, but I will remain defiant to the end in pursuit of truth, peace and justice,.. .. for all of us.
