Who Is She That Stares Back At Me

I looked at my reflection the other day
I didn't know the girl who looked back at me
Her eyes were so cold, so distance
Her mind trapped waiting to be set free

Through her eyes I see she is so empty
Looks as if her soul is gone
Looks as if there is ice where her heart use to be
I can tell only tears fill her life and she is unhappy

I looked at my reflection the other day
When I looked at her she turned the other way. . . .

Breana, this is so profound! We often stare in the mirror and wonder what it is we are seeing. Very beautiful, Carolyn
