Who Is My Neighbour

He never knocks on my door
I only see him outdoors

I mostly see him smoking, sitting on the stairs
Sometimes holding a beer bottle in the air

He always smiles and waves "hi"
But she, in the next door is so shy

Her little dog is not though
That little cuteness always has words to say, although

The far neighbour's dog, that is huge and serious
Always gets me hurried to my door, he seems so furious

Writing about neighbors and family situations is good material for poems. I liked yours. If he's a drinker, maybe you shouldn't care if he sticks to himself. And thanks for visiting my three short poems, my friend. Blessings, Darlene
