Who Is In the Know Who Is In the Loop

Who is in the know? Who is in the loop? I always keep my mouth shut, so they give me every scoop. Do you know a thing? Many ask me, to and fro. Not a thing, I lie, knowing they will never know. They are catching on and run to ask me quick. Who is doing what, who carries the biggest stick? I know but keep it quiet. It’s not their business after all. Sometimes in May I know what others learn at the end of fall. Who is in the know? Who is in the loop? I run away from them, pretending I do not have the scoop. I act wide eye, pretending innocence, and that I do not know They all share their secrets. I believe it will always remain so.

Such a wise woman! You do realize that you learn so much from all of them because they are eager to put you in the loop! I've been doing this for years. Of course, there was a time when I knew all the secrets and was bound to keep them confidential. Not so much now. I don't know anything! I like it that way, too.
