Who Is In Charge Here

Children correct adults now That never happened before. We knew better. We’d have been slapped onto the floor. Children say “No” now. Like they have some say That never happened Back in our day.

I've been told the difference between America and the rest of the world is that kids here tell the parents what to do... Let's hope this doesn't spread beyond our borders. Terrible export it would be... Perhaps, though, Harry Truman had it right. He said: How do I discipline my grandchildren? -- I ask them what they want to do. Then I raise my voice and say firmly: "O.K. Go do it!" lol. ~ gw

True, indeed, and I find it utterly intolerable. I subbed a few classes in my day, but when I reached the 7th grade level, I turned in my cap. No 7th grader is going to tell me to "go f--k yourself!" And, it was a girl!!! And, to think, when I was her age, I didn't even know what that meant!
