Who Is Hot and Who Is Not?
He told me he is hot and I’m not
Then I looked at the cooking pot and the flower pot
I wondered! What gap exist between the belly and beauty
I will ask the sun and the dark cloudy city
He told me he is hot and I’m not
Then I gazed at the aged hut and the blue spot
I wondered! What are the pains and gains of time and chance?
I would ask the bending bones and the legs that dance
If you are hot and I’m not
Don’t blame the Creator for the seed that rot
For they are the future trees that feeds the nation
So, paint your ego with ash and caution
If you are hot and I’m not
Don’t add salt to the content of your teapot
For it will make the content sour and poor
If you are hot and he is not, do not think that he is poor
If you are hot and I’m not
Don’t put your head on the pillow of a baby cot
For it will dent your intended egomania
If he’s hot and you’re not, forget his egomania.
