Who Do I Run To?
Who do I run to
When no one else cares?
Who will understand me
Me when no one else will?
When will the rest of the
World begin to trust me?
I let got of the past and
Put it behind me
When will they realize
That I am one of them?
When will they learn
To treat me the way that
I deserve to be treated?
How can I find the person
That I will be there to lend me a hand?
Why does the world see me
as an outsider?
I am just like them
But different on the inside
Why does the world judge
People from the world
If I never get the chance
The world will never see
That I am just here to
To live a fulfilled life
And to make a difference in the world
