Who Can Save Us From Ourselves?
You foolish boy!
What have you done!
Come son, come!
Cast out yourself,
‘cause it’s the demon
that’s goin' ruin you.
Child, get that big black bible;
the King James Version is better
‘cause it’s written in the old tongue.
Read boy, read!
Read a Psalm,
and ask God to help you.
Spill your guts to God boy;
don’t bottle in the devil.
Those demonic lies,
that come from your lips,
cause heavens to close their eyes.
You cause me so much pain boy,
even at your birth.
Come on, read!
Maybe someone curse that very day
I brought you to this earth.
Read yourself a new life.
Ask the father for new hands,
so you won’t steal again.
Ask him for a heart and a new brain,
so you won’t remember.
Pray son!
Pray, according to God’s will.
Let that foul spirit go.
Ask God for amnesty
for the innocence you kill.
Go wash the curse from your pores child;
use the oil the chaplain gave you.
It's goin' be alright,
everything is goin' be alright.
Daylight goin' bring peace.
My heart exhales with delightful ease.
the morning will bring some peace,
the morning will bring me peace.
