Who Can I Trust?

Who can I trust,
in a world so cold.

Where people don’t care,
the damage they cause.

Not by fist or fire,
but by mere words alone.

Those you trust most,
tend to hurt you the worst.

Ones you don’t expect,
attack when you’re down.

What am I to do,
when I feel all alone.

Who can I tell,
of the pain I feel.

Turn to the one who knows,
those tears you often shed.

Fully trust in the master,
who cares for you.
