Who Are You Online

I show a smile on a timeline.
Something I can't define.
My bird always sings a happy song.
But not for very long.
My filter plastered against my face.
Running along with humanity's race.
When's it gunna change,or am I just stuck in a booth.
We fake,we front but a greater power knows the truth.
As people we are lonley,as souls we crave acceptance.
And they say in the end focus on repentance.
with social media the way it is we crave the attention they feed us.
But no one stops to to question how they go and treat us. But not me,no way,I refuse to let it take control.
I say to you outloud I make my future roll.
I'm quirky,I'm kind...and no one can change me.
Not even every model you see on tv.
I got curves,I got brains...and no career choice can make me chose.
Even if I give up some and it seems like I may lose.
I'm fancy at times,I'm ragged as
but let me tell you it's not just my luck.
It's me,I'm unique and I'm gunna be true.
Something social media doesnt show to you.
