Who Are You

Out of the darkest depths of ourselves
we find fear.

We find the broken pieces of ourselves
that long for glue.

We discover our deepest desires-
our darkest wishes.

As humans,
we have every right to fear the shattered glass within us-
afraid of being cut.

But if we go no further,
our limits are not tested to their full capability.

And we despise ourselves from the inside out,
allowing only hurt to enter.

We are all a single piece of a shattered mirror,
but what we see in our reflection is UP TO US....
