Who Are You

Who are you
to tell me what I should feel
feel positive you say
Why should I feel positive

My daughter died
why should I feel happy
am I not entitled to my pain
you yuppy's with demented thoughts

play at beings kings of love
let me feel what I feel
I have a right to feel my pain
my tears and broken dreams

Yet there are days
where I feel happy
days where I would have
the world sing with me

The road of life is full
of bumps and hurdles
Today I'll smile
but yesterday I cried.

I could not imagine how that kind of a loss would feel. If there is ever a time to feel what you felt, that was the time. I'm sorry for your loss, this poem transcends any contest.
