Who Are You?

Who are you to tell me how to live my life?
Who are you to tell me what to wear?
Who are you to tell me who to hang out with or date?
You are a nobody, and I refuse to listen to you!

Who are you to tell me I’m not good enough?
Who are you to tell me I’m never going to succeed?
Who are you to tell me I’m a wild child… because I don’t follow your rules?
You are a nobody, and I refuse to listen to you!

Who are you to tell me that my dreams are unrealistic?
Who are you to tell me what music is appropriate?
Who are you to tell me that my poetry is trashy, disrespectful, and a cry for insanity?
You are a nobody, and I refuse to listen to you!

Who are you to tell me how to live my life?
Who are you to tell me I’m not good enough?
Who are you to tell me that my dreams are unrealistic?
You are a nobody, and I refuse to listen to you!
