Who Are You

Who are you to judge me
What makes you think your success
Makes you better than my simple living
Who are you trying to impress

You look at me with disappointment
With eyes that saw but do not see
I’m just trying to keep my appointment
With the entity that supposedly made me

How many more years will we do this
How many more years in this stalemate
Why can you just accept my own judgement
And allow me to go to my fate

So open the gates for me archangel
Will I pass though I don’t know
Will I be accepted for all of my faults
Or be send to rot down below

Now it’s your move and so I’m waiting
What will your next big move be
This isn’t a fight against god now
This is a fight against me
