Who Are We?
Who are we?
When fame and fortune flicker,
Falter and fade.
Will any remember?
Who are we?
As the paraphernalia pale and
Reputations no more enthrall.
Will any recall?
The sum of other's memories?
Or is there more
Days of yore?
More yesterday in store?
Is this all then?
Three score and ten!
Or can life go on?
Does love prolong?
