Who Are We

Who are we without a body and mind?
This ancient conundrum still baffles mankind
Theories are boundless, as nobody knows
And so this huge mystery continues and grows
To the earth we are born and in time we all die 
But beyond knowing that, we all wonder why
Are we much greater than body and mind?
And are we eternal and all intertwined? 
We each have beliefs about who we are
Perhaps we're celestial like a bright cosmic star
