Who Are the Names On the Wall
Just Reach out and Touch a Name ,
As You Walk Slowly By...
Did You Have a Strange Sensation,
Did You Wonder...How Did He Die?
You Can Feel it in Every Tear That Falls,
As it Trails down the Cheek,
In the Pain That Fills the Heart,
Felt Each Time it Beats.
It Is in the Gentle Breeze That Blows,
The One Felt When None Is There...
It Dances Around and down the Spine,
Then Back up to Caress the Hair.
Our Spirits Forever Linger About,
Strong Emotions Give Us the Call
We Are the Breeze You Feel,
We Are Those Names on the Wall.
We Are the Names on the Wall,
Each Carved out in Stone.
We Are Fifty-eight Thousand Strong,
Together Forever, but Also Alone.
Just Walk by Those Names and Listen,
Can You Hear a Gentle Breeze at All?
If you hear it you will never have to ask....
Who Are the Names on the Wall?
