Who Am I Without You?

Who is a king
without a crown?

Or a great music performer
without a listening audience

A cocktail party
without cheerful guests?

What is beauty
without a beholder?

A work of art
without an admirer?

What is wealth
without none to share?

A joke , a story
without no one to hear and laugh?

And what is life
without no one to live with?

Who am I
without you?

My eyes without your sight
My mouth without your ears?
My heart,

without your fond memories and living thoughts

My existence
without your presence and absence

Who am i without you?
For I am, because you are.
