Notes About The Poem

A triolet for the prompt "Who am I without my mask?"

Who am I without my mask

Entailed in a spiritual, chaotic race,
My soul scouts and squirms behind my tranquil veil.
Who am I without my mask? The mirror shows my face
Entailed in a spiritual, chaotic race.
I know I must leap into the unknown and embrace
The alignment with faith to follow the mystic trail.
Entailed in a spiritual, chaotic race,
My soul scouts and squirms behind my tranquil veil.
