(WHO AM I ?) to saunter by?
(WHO AM I ?) to moan and cry?
(WHO AM I ?) to even try
To criticize this sonnet guy?
(WHO AM I ?) to try to sigh?
(WHO AM I ?) to reason why?
(WHO AM I ?) to try to fly
Above a cloud that is too high?
(WHO AM I ?) to try to spy?
(WHO AM I ?) to try to pry?
(WHO AM I ?) to write these lies?
(WHO AM I ?) to be so shy?
Maybe (I?) should just say goodbye!
Because,
Who am "I" to slam the rest!
Who am "I" to pass the test!
Who am "I" to be the best!
Who am "I" to wear that crest!
Who am "I" to beat my chest!
Who am "I" to suggest
That "I" own the east and west!
Who am "I" to build my nest!
Who am "I" to deflect the pest;
Bullet proof, just like a vest!
