Who Am I (Acrostic Rhyme)

Who am I has been the question in my life.
Here within me is a torture, shared by some.
Only my mind knows about my mortal strife.

Angrily my mind fights, while I remain numb.
My heart is stayed, though merrily carries on.

I keep my soul close, segregated from evils con.

Dear Cecil, this title caught my attention. Very thoughtful, and I'm glad you "merrily" carry on despite your worries. Thanks for reading "Blizzard." Barbara is a very loving friend who has been helping me through a tough time. Love, Carolyn
