Who Am I

WHO AM I

Who am i, I am me
I can be whomever I want to be
A doctor, a lawyer, a actress, a teacher
I can be either one or the other
But I get discoraged by human nature

I try but fail or fail to try
I try to be strong, but still I cry
For a little girl lost begging to be free
Why must I hide can't I be me?

The man I love, does he love me?
I can't be what he wants me to be
A model, a actress, a human portrait
He tells me it's best I blend in with the maters

Hurtful words, silent cries
Asking myself the when's and why's
Who am i? I am me
And there's none else I'd rather be
