Who Am I

I'm like the wind
That dies with setting sun
I'm like the breath
That's lost from distant run

I'm like the stance
Upheld by feeble feet
I'm like the rain
That's turning into sleet

I'm like the Fall
That follows Summers' heat
Facing Winters' glare
Knowing I'll be beat

But still I have
My memories and things
To lift me up like puffy clouds
Upon a sea of dreams.

Thanks Ilene. An online friend asked me, "How are you"? My standard response is always, "Doing good and how about you"? I decided to change up the response and that's what came from it. Thanks for reading. Rockman :-)
