Who Am I

Tell me who I am
Just tell me please
It shouldn’t be this hard
Pick me up off of my knees
Open this door that’s been barred
And show me the light

O who am I, just tell me who I am
And show me the light, just show me my friend

I shout my questions to the skies
Yet no one seems to hear
And now reality turns to lies
And again I begin to fear
That I’m loosing myself once again

O who am I, just tell me who I am
And show me the light, just show me my friend

Suddenly my cold heart turns warm
As I begin to realize I was never alone
You’ve been with me through this storm
Through the love of Christ I’ve been reborn

Now I’m alive and free, I know who I am
I know who I am, my eyes are open wide
You’ve shown me the light, you’ve shown me my friend

I am a Christian so tall and brave
Since Jesus died at Calvary
To sin no longer am I a slave
By the blood of the Lamb I’ve been set free

I know who I am, my eyes are open wide
My fears are gone, my tears are dried, I’m finally alive
Thank you for showing me the light, thank you my friend
