Who Am I

Who am I?
When I look into that mirror
Who am I?
When I think of how much I miss her

The days drag on
And my soul is so alone
My heart gets chiseled at
But it is still hard as stone

I wonder about the day
Where light will be in my life
Think about the hour
That it will all hit me tonight

No friends looking over
No one to just tell
I’m trapped in this world
It’s my 6x9 cell

So I ask again
Really who am I?
Still no answers
As I sit alone and cry

Focus more on who you are not, it will be easier that way. Also, good poem, simple and effective.   -KMD
