Who Am I

The end of lies
The betrayal and deceit
Such beautiful eyes
Casting their retreat
I’m no one again

I’m fading with everyday
I’m dying as you see
I’m gone in every way
Look right through me
Who have I become?

Just waiting to feel again,
Just waiting to cry,
Waiting in pain,
To die…
Relive first breath

Smelling the flower….
I’ve found myself….
Dying by the hour….
Wish I was someone else…..
Who am I?

What more could I ask for today? It is a beautiful day the sun shining and birds singing. I am reading your poetry in which you share a little of yourself maybe without even realizing it you have written from your soul. Thank you for sharing your excellent poetry with us Jeff. Love, Carol

So many people ask this question. Who am I? Why am I? What am I doing here? The Bible holds the answer. We were created to give God pleasure. That is what we are for. When we try to fulfill our duty to the creator we are at last satisfied in ourselves. Good job here my friend. God Bless, JB
