Who Am I

In naming who I am
It names my country,
Family, profession,
All that I am.

Dare I face threat of
Persecution, imprisoned
Torture or death,
When I profess who I am?

When my life
Is on the line
Nothing else matters,
But, who I am.

A badge of honor
Alien, stranger
Slave of Jesus Christ;
Called, I am a Christian.
