Who am I?

I received a message from heaven
to put down my phone and pick up a pen
I ignored it at first, I must admit
but God sort of said "this is it"

Do as I ask you and listen to me
for you have a job to do, which you agreed
your life on this earth was planned from the start
to listen and learn and to give with your heart

You're a wife and a mother, a grandmother too
and what you have learned should teach a few
you've learned to console, love, cherish and give
to forgive and forget and learned how to live

You've given assurance and guided with love
and taught how to look for guidance above
you've offered serenity, peace and calm
when others were angry and wanted to harm

You're a lightworker upon this earth
and you have to teach people what they are worth
your soul has the wisdom to know the truth
and through your words you must teach the youth

I admit, they won't always listen to you
but keep on trying and you'll get through
I am helping you on your journey of life
so that you can share the beauty of light.
