Notes About The Poem

You are who you make yourself

Who Am I

Who Am I?
By Franklin Price

Who am I, I have to ask,
Am I an independent one,
Or do I lean on others,
When all is said and done?

Am I blessed with healthy mind,
With ablity to reason,
Do I evaluate the choices,
No matter what the season?

Am I, at all, responsible
As the days of life go by
Or do I accept what's given,
Then look back and wonder why?

Every day, I am the one,
Who determines who I am,
And what it is, I do and say,
To give up or give a damn
