who said you could come in
i heard you knocking outside
but all i need is a friend
not a love that will change my life
not a whore to make me feel good for the night
just a friend that can make it all right
you made me feel like i was wanted again
but your feelings were only lies
somehow somewhere along the way
i lost all faith inside
was it you that showed me wrong from right
was it you that said come take my hand
you only took me a little while
then left what was left of me in the sand
i loved you
you loved him
i loved you
you lied
i love you
you love me
but that is just a lie
ill love you forever
left with only a sigh, left without goodbye
who can save me form my curse
who can set me free
you are the one that put me here
for all of eternity
i lay myself to rest for the last time
and for the first time i see you
