Whiteness Meditation

Learning to sit in the whiteness of being
It's whiteness fades into blankness
for once and not flailing into a thousand directions
and there is this
quietness
that reverberates within and without that shouts of pale lotus
speaking of wisps of thought, about worry, about grasping
and then the breath like white translucent white
an anchor in the chaos
allowing me
a deeper and deeper access
to the wisdom that
resides in the purity of my soul

Learning to sit
with others
in silence that somehow makes us all equal to each other
we share the space of wide ness and we
Gallop over the snow covered peaks of silence
as we do a metta meditation
that starts with self
and ventures forth like a circle within a circle within a circle
endlessly loving
endlessly compassionate

Learning to sit
is worth everything.
