Whiteness

I’ve tried to change my process of thought My preference of love may not easily be bought Been there for years, hurt badly when I swayed My brothers of color steered me another way I choose a person not raised as I was This has caused oh quite the fuss Doesn’t matter what they say or feel It’s my decision to me it’s real So I live with the hope one day after another I’ve chosen to love one of another color
