White Swan On a Chequerboard

"White Swan on a Chequerboard"

The White Swan
was a sight to behold
skipping squares
in 3 moves
Nights never
stay long
in the realm of
Black Swan

she lights up
too hot to touch
just like a light bulb
some kind of
graceful war dance
just like some
tightrope walking
agape Love

When in love, who reads the fine print??? Most jump in and never look until they are burned. Love should just be love. Guess that is not real life. Have a blessed/wonderful day...................

Well, it is the highest form of love and the majority of the human population are far from considered saints. We are conditional and competitive in nature (unlike the sainted grand masters, including J.C.). Christ Consciousness, doesn’t come naturally nor easily to the majority of humanity. All of us, including those who believe they are more pure in belief, faith and actions than others, deliver for the most part, their unconditional love with steadfast conditions. To attain Christ Consciousness, which encapsulates Agape Love, requires the generous motive of Forgiveness. Most faith/belief espoused in religions, come attached with conditions and segregation. Take the entrance conditions for Heaven and Hell, for eg, it is within these domains, we are lead to believe, by the rigours of most cultures, that there are certainly conditions for entry.

Romance comes with conditions in the game of love, just as much as any other sphere where "Love" and the mystery of Agape Love rub shoulders. Lovers, Children, Parents, Family, Friends, strangers...love and forgiveness are shaky pals. They say there is unconditional love between parents and children, even that love, you will discover has its hidden conditions. It is difficult to deliver Agape Love, when it is hard to love everyone ‘unconditionally’, when some actions are most certainly unforgivable; this would include crimes, heinous and non-heinous. Lies and betrayal, destruction of trust and respect, also unforgivable to most. Leaders that throw their countries into war, with the steady execution of their population, how would Agape Love factor into forgiving War Crimes.

It is hard to deliver Agape Love for most, when we consider actions that are indeed, unforgivable. Some things in this life (at least) cannot and will not ever be forgiven, even at time of death. Agape Love is a state of ‘being’ that many of us will never realise nor achieve in this lifetime, until perhaps, we understand it’s relevance in the next life and are kicked out again on our merry way, to return to do it all over again and somehow realise the concept of Agape Love. Of course, there are those that do not believe in a next life, or hereafter, that this is the only life we are given to deliver unconditional love. Thank you Paula for your observations on Agape Love, it certainly gave me pause for further thought. You are correct, Agape Love, is not real life.

Agape Love. There are conditions to unconditional love...when you take the time to read the small print in the contract...but who ever has the time to do that, when Love is front and centre, pressing for closure.
