White Noise
White noise for my sleep...
The rigid alarm to tear me awake...
Radio ramblings of foreign wars...
The uneven wheels and squeaky brakes...
The roosters crowing on a dew-kissed lawn...
The brittle leaves rattling in the breeze...
The sparse coins jingling in my pocket...
The majestic silence of the trees...
The chaos of a filled living room...
The TV, the dog, and the chatter...
The gentle breathing as you sleep...
The noise of what really matters...
