Whispers to the Moon

Whispers to the Moon

My Moon, your curls tumble like midnight's wild prayer,
I miss weaving my hands through their untamed grace,
Holding you tight, where we fit without care,
Glove to the hand, in this sacred embrace.
Mirrors and opposites, souls etched through time,
Known in the stars, lifetimes deep in our gaze,
It felt like the truth, pure and sublime,
Right to the bone, in your infinite ways.

Road trips we chased, windswept and alive,
Morning coffees shared, your warmth in my palm,
Music igniting as lovers we'd thrive,
Singing our fire, bodies a psalm.
Wilderness walks, hand in earth's quiet art,
Seaside quests where waves kissed our dreams,
Talks of the divine, faith's hidden heart,
Teasing your light from my shadowed seams.

Your care was my shelter, soft as the tide,
Now echoes ache in the void left behind.
My Moon, if the night calls you back to my side,
We could trace those old paths, let the longing abide.
