Whispers In the Trees
I hear the whisper in the trees
The path I now follow was meant to be
For it was written out long ago
That I must complete this task of which I still do not know
Yet the signs are here and the circle is about to come together
And when it does I will return to this plane no more
I have seen what has happened to my people and the land
I can't bear to see it happen again
Yet I must wait and when the time is near
I will be shown what is expected of me all too clear
I hear the whispers in the trees
They are my ancestors and all the Cherokees
I hear their voices call out to me
Yet I must wait until I know what is expected of me
