Whispers

Where is he now, the one who knew me? "Where is he now," whispers each day. What would he think if he could see me? What would he say? Would he speak in sweet soothing tones? Would he want to woo me again? Could he hear me if I told him why Or will he wait until I die? Yes, then I'd whisper in his ear The things my lips and heart hold dear. I'd watch and guard him with my magic wand. I'd sprinkle stardust in his path around the pond. I'd whisper the love that's buried inside me. I'd watch him through the night Whispering dreams that will come true Somewhere beyond a sky of blue and out of sight. By: Carole O'Terry Duet Copyright: 2004 "All Rights Reserved"

This is a lovely poem, but one with a touch of sadness.. Interesting rhyme scheme, nice to see a different take on rhyme schemes..

Thanks S1. This one was written before I knew anything about "forms". Most of the time I just...write.

This is sad, lovely and romantic all in one, Carole. I am sure he can hear your heartfelt whispers and there will come a day when you'll both be together again! ~ Warm regards // paul
