Whispers

Whispers

The light whispers gently graze my neck...
My body shivers at the touch. ..
I quickly turn around but he is gone....
Gone with the wind...

I pace for grace all around but no where to be found...

Oh where could he be?
I tire after awhile.
This cat and mouse game...
Is it a fable or am I not able?

I pace for grace all around but no where to be found...

Lost about I want to shout...
Did I glimpse the fingerprints?
Impaired by my sight I must take flight...

I pace for grace all around but no where to be found...

Left in the shadows, oh how I cower...
My imagination is wild the images are defiled...
A test of faith but am I too late?

I pace for grace all around... but no where to be found...

Ah, still no crumby cookies.:) I don't think you'll find grace, for it has already found you! It sat on your shoulder, slid over and has imbedded itself in your heart.:) Love the format of this piece, intrigued then overwhelmed by your thoughts. A beautiful write, Meg! Keep well, Mikki
