Whispers

No matter how big the sore
My heart will only open to me;
And will always stay closed as before

I dare not even pour
My heart with a lonely bee;
No matter how big the sore.

People yearn to explore
It and give me many a plea
But it stays closed as before

My heart swore
Not to open to thee
No matter how big the sore

It has split in a war,
To an unfixable degree
But refuses to open as before

Now I ignore
My heart and give you the key
No matter how big the sore
As I’ve never done before
