Whispering Grounds

I watch the time pass me by like water from the heavens to the shallow ground... we fall behind and can't pick ourselves up, so I lay down for a final kiss goodnight to only see the past as a dream not as a realities nightmare. This whisper has me crying to the grounds we sleep in caressing our last dream to see a future that I hold not in my palms but in my sight to the overseen last kiss. I never wanted to let go of this place but for now, we will meet again I don't know when but it will be soon ...to hold each others hands to lay in the grass laughing...
