Whispered Melody

Smell the damp air
Let it coat your lashes
Feel the soil between your toes
Soft and squishy

Allow the sun
To warm your face
And melt away
The fears of darkness

Hear the light breeze
Sing softly to the trees
Songs of love and comfort
Let it sing to you

Sing you to sleep
The soil your pillow
The sun your blanket
And a whispered melody
Subtly lulling you to sleep
