Whispered…… (Poetic Form :: LaGrange Quatrain) After the lock down norms ceasing met an old friend, asked how you managed to stay home, his teasing story shared, I's feeling blue. After sumptuous meal resting on sofa, calm still, eyes closed; tried to think deeply for getting answers to questions, he posed. Simple questions, aim of knowing who is he, from where he came what's purpose, where he'll be going? felt, If can’t know, it's a shame. And then he heard his wife yelling from kitchen in her own way; you're lazy man, never helping, agree what my friends say. God knows from where you have arrived; Your purpose, like a moron to spoil life, Mom aptly advised. Get up now to clean the lawn. What a fate without much toiling of thinking about so deep got reply for each annoying questions; got up, moved to sweep. Friend said, knowledge gained instantly with no labor, he’s so sad; just whispered manage skillfully; meeting him today felt too bad. ~X~X~X~
